FULL DESCRIPTION, physical Yoichiro stands at the proud height of five foot eleven, weighing in at approximately one hundred and seventy pounds. Though, he does way a lot, most of his weight comes from his muscles, since he packs a load onto his slender frame. Actually, from first glance, Yoichiro looks a bit under weight, if not less. Though, if you ever have the chance to pick up Yoichiro, he's like a stone. Not many people can keep him up in their arms for long, which makes him laugh. He's not self-concious about his weight; actually, very much the opposite. He's proud, seeing as since he was a kid, he was a mere stick, and was made out of nothing. And then, now, he's fully transformed into something awe-inspiring.
His eye are perfect; almond shaped, and in the exact position on his face. Not too far apart, and not too close together. Just right. The color of his eyes are a emerald green, which sparkled in the sun's rays. At the end of his eyelid, is a scar that has blackened over the years. It runs from the bottom of his eye to the bottom of his chin. They almost look like lines from crying, but, sadly they're not. These scars are battle wounds from his father, and he's had to live with them every since. Lucky Yoichiro.
His hair is raven black, which he likes to keep shaggy, and a little shorter than his shoulder. He likes to curve, and dangle two threads of his hair in front of his face, just between his eyes, resting on the bridge of his nose. These act as bangs. Though, sometimes they tend to flap around, and get washed away from the wind or rain, however, Yoichiro, always finds a way to put it back the way it was.
Yoichiro's body is of a boxers, or a weight trainers; slim, muscular, and ever-so perfect. Though, sometimes he can put on the weight by lack of excersize, but in the end, he does manage to excell and put his body back the way it was. He's healthier than ever, more than most people. He tends to eat more fruit then vegetables, but helps with the growing of his body. His arms hold muscle, which has been growing since the day he could train. Veins align his arms and his hands, poping out whenever they felt was needed. Though, since Yoichiro always wears a cloak, no one can see his tattoo on his left arm. The tattoo is of the symbol of his clan; well, not the official symbol. It was just something he made up, and it stuck with him for the rest of his life.
The tattoo is of an eye; not his eye, but a made up one. The eye is like the one you see in Lord of the Rings; fire floating around it as he watched over the people of Morador. The pupil of the eye is of an icey blue, with a hint of emerald in it - just to add a little personality. The eye has an errow going through its eyelid, blood splattered on the arrow. The eyes glare is focased on its shooter, sending out waves of evilness, and hatred. Overall, Yoichiro likes to call it his "Emo Eye" or his "Third Eye." As for Yoichiro legs, they're long, and slender like a womans, though it does bare tiny blond hairs which are unnoticable far away. His feet are permed, and well kept. No one wants stinky and disformed feet.
clothing
Yoichiro wears a normal shinobi shoes like others, though he goes tend to use a different pair made out of better material, leather to be exact. This shoes are the color black, and look like slippers, though, they're not. They slip on easily, but once one, its hard to get them off. Yoichiro wears longs, black cotton pants which tend to drag on the ground sometimes if he's no careful. The pants are nothing special; just something he picked up in another country while on a mission. The pants have no particular design on them; pockets on either side on the pant, with a loop hole for a belt if he ever needed one. On the left side of his pants, is a hidden zippered pocket which Yoichiro likes to either keep a snack in, or even some weapons. Its basically a free-be pocket.
However, on the other side of his leg is his weapons' holster. The holster sites on top of his knee so he can reach it without bending down all the way. Its better to have it higher in combat, though, thats why he tends to move it around. For his top, Yoichiro wears a normal mesh shirt under all of his outside clothing. Over top, he wears a white jacket, which he likes to zip up to his neck. The zipper for the jacket, and the collar of his jacket are both the color back. Its nice to have atleast some color on his jacket. The jacket is fitted tightly around his arms and chest area, giving him the luxary of moving around faster. Having a baggy jacket on would limit his flexability, and his speed. Hence why he wears this jacket. Though, he rarely takes it off. Its like his top layer of skin.
The jacket is normal sized, sitting no lower than his waist line. Before his jacket hits the top of his pants, his shirt parts ways, leaving a black opening the shape of a rectangle. In doing so, Yoichiro second shirt, a white one, is now revealed. The white shirt is a skin tight one, and its very thin at the most, too. He doesn't like the idea of wearing much, seeing as it might interfere with his combat, but its for looks. Yoichiro loves to look stylsih where ever he goes. The jacket has no pockets, or even buttons. Just a normal zipper in the center, going from the bottom of the material, to the top.
Yoichiro is rarely seen with a Flak vest on, the one he got from Konoha when he had turned into a Chuunin rank. He prefers to wear his other attire { which was stated above } but, once in a while, when he's entering important villages, he'll dress up to match, trying to blend in with everyone else. No one likes getting caught, especially when you're a missing-nin. When in battle, Yoichiro has the habit of wearing arm guards, and shin pads for his protection - no one likes bruises. The arm and shin guards are made out of the same material; plastic. Hard and sturdy plastic at the most. The arm guards are placed in the center of his arms, since thats where most attacks seem to hit. His shin guards hands from the top of his knee, to the starting of his ankle.

PERSONALITY, __ the C O M E D I A N Yoichiro has always had the comedian blood running through his veins ever since he was young. Cracking up a joke in midst of an awkward silence, or when people are feeling down; and then he hears them laugh, or a smile form on their face, really makes Yoichiro lighten up inside. His job is only done when he see's that smile, or hears that laugh. He tends to laugh along with them, even if he's heard that joke a million times or more. Why does he crack up these jokes? Even to people that are cruel to him? Because he believes that even the ones that have sinned deserve a second chance in life, even though some might have to disagree. But, for Yoichiro, joking around is all apart of growing up. Even if he's already in his twenties. He's had the kind of past that makes people really think "Is this kid really happy, or is he just putting on a show for us?" And the answer to that question? Who knows? Maybe Yoichiro really does hide behind laughing and jokes to fend off all the pain. Well, looks can be quite deceiving. You can’t just judge a book by its cover.
__the S A D I S T Some say that Yoichiro has a split personality. Some say he's crazy, and should be kept locked up. This strange, yet creepy side of Yoichiro tends to take over his thoughts, and how his body functions. He turns into a total "beast" is what some describe his actions as. Of course there are other nicknames that have risen from the people, but we won't go further into that quite yet. When Yoichiro see's blood, he changes. Not because he's afraid of blood, but because the smell and sight of blood triggers a rush of adrenaline inside young Yoichiro, making him all excited, and giddy. Once he starts, it’s hard for him to stop. He's like a machine; killing person after person. He won't stop unless he's been killed, or everything living around him has been freed of blood. After many long battles, Yoichiro tends to use his Katana because it insures a safe and painful death. He would stand there, in the middle of all the bodies, licking the blood off his sword, with a crazy expression on his face. An expression that most humans can't form if they were insane or even sane.
__the F R I E N D S Friends. Who needs then? Some need them for comfort, for someone to talk to, hang out with. Others need them for security, or for true friendship. So why does someone like Yoichiro need a simple human being to light up his life? Someone to talk to? He's always asked himself that question and the only real reason why friends are so precious to him are, because he needs a challenge; someone to always be competing with against jutsus, and dominance. Someone to argue with and the least of all, someone to kill. Out of all the friends that Yoichiro has had in the past years since he's been alive, they have either fled to another village in fear of the sadistic Yoichiro, or have died why trying to defend themselves from Yoichiro. Why does he end up killing them? Simple: because they're useless, and don't deserve to live. They're just scum to him, nothing more. He also uses them as toys; when they've been worn out, its time to throw them away, because they're ineffective, and hopeless. He has since found a match for his challenges, but one day...One day, he will find that one person who will be able to compete against him as an equal. Someone who will not fear him for what he is. Someone who thinks of Yoichiro as nothing but a regular human being.
__the O B S E S S I O N Obsession comes from those who have a compulsive preoccupation with a fixed idea or an unwanted feeling of emotion, often accompanied by symptoms of anxiety. The things that Yoichiro obsesses about: women, and blood. Now, this is a pretty strange combination to have, but that's Yoichiro; strange and irregular. The obsession for women started ever since he was a small boy; because of his scary, and intimidating image, most girls feared Yoichiro from first glance, without even trying to get to know him. The rumors that circulated around about his insanity came with a hard hit to most; Yoichiro was excluded from his peers and the adults surrounding him. Most of the girls giggled behind Yoichiro's back, insulting him when he wasn’t there, and even in front of him if the chance of meeting those particular individuals that made fun of him were near him at that time. He didn't want the women to be afraid of him.
He had witnessed first hand how bad women were treated by some men. He didn’t want women being abused, or hurt by someone who thought they could take over another human being. Instead, he wanted to save them. He would do deeds here, and deeds there, picking a fight with every man possible that was abusing their girlfriend or wife. Of course, he would do this in private, not letting victim see Yoichiro's face, or the women seeing their savor. For now, Yoichiro's image would stay hidden until necessary. As for the other obsession with blood, it kind of falls under his "sadist" personality; when he see's the blood, it triggers the adrenaline in his body, making him go wild. He just can't stop with what he had just killed. He need more. He wanted more. Some people are afraid of the sight of blood, while there are other who faint in dead sight. And then there’s Yoichiro. A person who lets foreign blood willingly escape into his body. A person who inhales the blood in through his nostrils. It’s like he says, "Blood, it’s in you to give."
__the L E A D E R The leader part of Yoichiro's personality is the most prominate one. The leader aspect of Yoichiro only comes out when needed. He is the right leader-type material, he just doesn't show it all the time - like most born leaders. He obviously is fair, and makes his word command, and expects people to follow his orders. However, if someone pisses Yoichiro off, by not doing something correctly, or if they're disobeying his commands, then he will most likely use force, and leave a scar or too on their body. Yoichiro tends to give peolel second chances, seeing as everyone deserves one if they mess up in the first place, then they have the ability to fix it the next time around. Yoichiro doesn't like to hurt his partners, or the people working around him, but it makes the man mad if someone doesn't listen to a simple command he lays out. He tries hard not to hurt the person who had made him mad, but usually his strength takes over before his brain does, and he ends up leaving bruises without trying. Yoichiro doesn't want people to fear him, like they did when he was young. He wants people to look up to him in awe, and wish they were him. Thats all he's ever wanted...
__the R E B E L Ever since Yoichiro was young, he was always the rebel everywhere he went. He disobeyed every rule that was laid onto him, and always seemed to do the opposite people asked him to do. "Please throw that garbage away!" one would ask. Yoichiro would shrug, and huck the piece of garbage to the side onto the ground; lhe would laugh, and run away. Thats Yoichiro for you. He was always getting into toruble at home, at school, and in the public's view. He didn't want to be like everyone else; he wanted to be different; unique. Yoichiro made his rules up for himself, and would only abide by the ones he liked. Of course, his word was law, and no one else could change the way he thought.

EQUIPMENT,
- shuriken
A Shuriken is a small hidden weapon that takes on the appearance of what can be described as a four pointed star. They, like a kunai, are a common shinobi tool, and are often made from metal. They are small and can be hidden within the users hand, hence the concealed part of it. They usually play a small role in a shinobi's fighting style, and are more a supplemental weapon. They are often thrown and can be used in partnership with jutsu to conceal their coming. Shuriken can be thrown for distraction, embedded in the ground or used as a carrier for other things, such as a fuse to start a fire or coated with poison. All at once, Yoichiro carries around between 7-12 shuriken when he's about to battle. If he was to go out normally, he would be seen carrying 4-7 shurkien total, no more than that.
- senbon
Senbon needles, while mainly used for Acupuncture (a form of Chinese healing that includes sticking needles in strategic spots on your body, redirecting ki or your life force so that it balances out) some Shinobi, properly trained, can use them as deadly weapons. One of the reasons it is not all that popular is it requires extreme accuracy and speed, fore these are only deadly if they hit a vital area of the body. Masters of the Senbon Needle combat are in a way, masters of illusion. With the right precision and timing, a Shinobi can throw a Senbon Needle seemingly at a vital target on an ally, but actually missing it by a few inches. This causes the ally to go into a death-like trance in which the Shinobi will appear dead. Even if the opponents were to take precautions to see if they are really dead. In total, since Yoichiro doesn't tend to use this weapon, but still prefers to carry it with him at all times, he carries between 15-20 senbon needles if needed. At times he would just leave them at his house, or embedded in ones body.
- kunai
A kunai is a wrought iron weapons that can be used in conjunction with many different things. Generally, they are the cheapest of a shinobi's weapons and range in size depending on the person's preference. The edge of this weapon is usually not polished to a sharp point, but left somewhat dull. It can best be described as a leaf shaped weapon with a handle that has a ring at the end of it. A kunai can be simply thrown, have wire attached to it, or it can be used as an anchor, as a stabbing weapon, or something like an exploding note can be wrapped around it and thrown. Since Yoichiro takes a liking to these weapons, he is seen carrying over 6 kunai at once, but at times will be seen carrying more.
- ---> explodeing kunai
This odd-shaped kunai has an exploding inscription engraved in its hilt to allow one to activate the jutsu needed to make it go ka-boom. Because of its odd balance and longer hilt, it is harder to throw. The Greater Exploding Tag inscribed on its hilt can still be set off as long as the kunai is within range.
[/li][li]katana This is what most people think of when they think about a Japanese sword. Katana are distinguished from broadswords for their extremely sharp edge and the slightly curved blade. The beauty of a katana appears on its blade and edge. They are only sharp on one side, are longer than the Ninja-to and designed more for slashing than the to. Of course, since this is his main weapon of choice, Yoichiro carries it around with him everywhere he goes. Right now, he only has one, but is working on getting a second one just in case. [/li][li]makibishi Makibishi are small spiked weapons that are used generally when a person is being pursued. They are a distraction to help a shinobi flee from their enemy. They are strong enough to puncture the common footwear of a shinobi, and small enough to be hidden in short grass when thrown. They generally do not cause that much damage, unless the pursuers shoes happen to be very thin, but offer enough of a nuisance that a person would be forced to stop. They usually have small hooks on the tips of the spike which will sink in and be painful to pull out. Yoichiro will tend to use this weapon when on a mission, or attacking someone, and then fleeing afterwards. The most he carries on his person are seven, since they aren't that effective, and have the chance of missing the person. [/li][/ul] FIGHTING STYLE,{ the } w e a p o n s Yoichiro is a balanced fighter, fighting at both short and long distances. He tends to use short distances the most because he main choice for weaponary would be his Katana, since he prefers this weapon the most out of the rest that he has. Its durable, strong, and most of all, precise. Though, Yoichiro does use other weapons besides his Katana. Most of them are stored inside of his weapons' holster. These weapons include, Senbon, Suriken, Kunai, Exploding Notes, et cetera. The senbon are only used on a special occassion, like when he goes on missions, or when he's in battle with a long distance battler, but otherwise he doesn't use them. All other weapons { kunai, shuriken, etc } will be used on a regular basis. { the } s t y l e s Since Yoichiro is better at the Ninjutsu, he tends to use that the most, though, time to time you can see him doing some Genjutsu and Taijutsu. Yoichiro uses his jutsus more than his weapons, even though it wastes more chakra. He knows this, but still does it. Why? Because he wants to get the fight over with. Yoichiro doesn't want to be fighting for no more than ten minutes at a time, so he tries to finish his opponent as quickly as possible. Though, seeing as he has a Kekkei Genkai, and is extremely helpful in getting your target down, he doesn't use it - actually, he doesn't use it at all. He's aware of the side-affects the special ability has to him, and does his best to not use it. Though, if he's in trouble, or his opponent is a real threat to Yoichiro - then he will most likely turn over and use the Kekkei Genkai. Though, this problem hasn't occured yet to Yoichiro. { the } t h i n k i n g Most people think while they fight, which is totally normal. But, what does Yoichiro think about? Its totally random. He doesn't think about killing the person - well, sometimes he does, but only if the person has pissed him off enough to actually make Yoichiro want to strive and kill the guy. But, otherwise Yoichiro's thoughts are mixed and gumbled. He starts to think about what he had for dinner last night, and suddening gets hungry; or he thinks about Ki - yes, after all these years, he's still thinking about his deceased friend and the time they had together. He also tends to think about what he's doing tomorrow, or what he'll be doing after this useless fight. All in all, Yoichiro just doesn't care about the battle itself. Of course, he hates to lose, so he tries his best to win, but overall, the thinking of Katto Yoichiro can range from food thoughts, to what he's wearing that day. KEKKEI GENKAI,[to be added later] JUTSU,Kabenobori no Jutsu { Wall Climbing Skill } Kinobori no Jutsu { art of tree climbing } Bunshin no jutsu { Doppelganger } Henge no jutsu { The Transformation Technique } Kawarimi no Jutsu { Body Replacement Technique } Kakuremino no Jutsu { Cloak of Invisibility Technique } Nawanuke no Jutsu { Rope Escape Technique } Suimen Hokou no Waza { Act of Water Surface Walking } Kage Shuriken no Jutsu { Shadow Shuriken Jutsu } Goukakyuu no Jutsu { Fire Release: Grand Fireball Technique } Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu { Water Clone Skill } Kai Release Bunshin Bakuha { Shadow Clone Explosion } Kaiten Shuriken. [ Rotating Shuriken. ] Rasen Shuriken. [ Spiral Shuriken. ] Teppoudama. [ Bullet. ] Gousuiwan no Jutsu. [ Strong Water Arm Technique. ] Kongouriki. [ Golden Thunder Power. ] Konoha Kage Buyou. [ Leaf Shadow Dance. ] Hien. [ Flying Swallow. ] OTHER ITEMS,- exploding note
An exploding note is a fairly common shinobi tool also. It is a piece of parchment that has writing upon its surface. This script serves the purpose of bringing forth the explosive properties of the note. Generally, exploding notes are attached to another object like a tree, rock, or house, or are wrapped around weapons such as the handle of a kunai. The script allows the paper to burn at a slow rate which will allow the user to escape before the explosion occurs. Since these are a rare item to use in Yoichiro's opinion, he tends to savor these weapons until game-day. He carries atleast four exploding notes with him.
- trap kit
A trap kit is used as a supplement during trap making. It includes drivers, cutting devices, fasteners, wires, and so much more. This collection of hand tools, and small parts typically includes a variety of pliers, drivers, cutting devices, fasteners, power tools, leads and wires. There are two types however, Basic and Deluxe, the different being that the Deluxe version has about two point five times more the supplies than the basic kit, and contains a few more advanced tools. Since Yoichiro is a schemer, he tends to set traps for his enemies. This, he carries around on his person at all times.
- exploding pouch
The exploding pouch is a variation of the exploding note. It is a small bag willed with powder that is attached to a hook similar to a fishing hook. These are usually attached to the enemy and will explode a few moments later. They are smaller than the exploding note, and not as obvious if a shinobi places it carefully. This weapon is used rarely, but is still apart of Yoichiro's weapons' collection. At the most, he carries 2-3 exploding pouches.

HISTORY,
---E A R L Y youth;;
Yoichiro's family was like any ordinary family; his mother, Suki, and father, Kiku. Suki was a civilian in Konoha, while Kiku, was a Jounin instructor over at the local Konohagakure Academy. They married at the young age of nineteen, and were madly in love. They didn’t meet by fate, more by luck. Kiku was on an escort mission for Ms. Suki; trying to get her from Konohagakure to Sunagakure for a meeting with the Kazekage. Of course, Suki didn't need the escort to begin with, seeing as the Akatsuki weren't after her because she had no Bijuu, and there were no Missing-nin that sought her dead. And, as cautious as she was, she demanded one, and got one. Quite a handsome one, too. She flirted all the way there with the man, and as soon as they got to the Suna gates, Suki insisted on a second "meeting." He was hesitant at first, but soon agreed. Suki kissed him good-bye and they parted ways.
As soon as Suki made it back to Konoha a few days later, there was no sight of Kiku. She had thought he had skipped out on her, and didn't actually want to meet with her again. She spent her days around town, doing random chores for the needy, and spending her life in the ramen bar, due to her depression. She had really thought she had a chance with that guy that she had connected. All of a sudden, while sitting in the ramen bar, listening to the life story of an old sap, Suki heard a strange, but familiar voice. "Now kids, we're looking for this lady who has long, curly brown hair, blue eyes, about neigh high. She lives around here, I think. Report back to me in fifteen minutes and tell me what you find." and after that, she heard four replies of "okay" from what seemed to be Academy Students, or even Genins. So, he does love me! Suki thought inwardly to herself, rushing out from the ramen shop, only to catch Kiku's handsome, masculine eyes. "Its you. It’s really you!" she yelled out in joy, rushing over to Kuku, giving him a nice whole-hearted love.
Two years later, weighing in at seven pounds eight ounces, Katto Yoichiro was born. The family was ecstatic. A true dream had come true for both: to have a successful delivery, and to have a healthy baby. Suki had wanted to name the boy Yoichiro, but Kiku had disagreed. In the end, the mothers' plea's for that name, and the over-whelming love he had for her caved and, and they went with "Yoichiro." The name meant nothing special; it was Sukis' deceased brothers' name. The memory of her brother made her want to re-create his living through Yoichiro, by giving the baby that name. "Instead of one soul living in that body, there will be two; by dear brothers' and my baby boys," she had said to her husband, while recovering in the hospital from giving birth hours before.
Yoichiro had a normal childhood; he grew up loved, and spoiled. His parents never neglected him, nor did they leave him alone for a single second. Yes, the mother was over-protective of her son, not wanting him to be exposed to the outside world until he was old enough to defend himself. And truth be told, the Yoichiro's father begged to differ with his wife, and wanted to get Yoichiro familiar with the way of the shinobi, and how to create and use jutsus. In secret, that is. Kiku didn't want to disobey his wife's wishes for their son, but he didn't want to keep Yoichiro locked up in this house for most of his life. As soon as his wife would go out and do what she regularly does, Kiku would snatch Yoichiro and take him to their backyard, forcing him to learn the jutsus his father would teach him. "Now, son. These are what all the Academy students are learning, and if you want to get ahead before you even get there, then I expect you to learn and master these jutsus in no more than a week; ten days at the most" his father would exclaim, with a stern expression on his face.
Kiku would show Yoichiro the jutsu he was supposed to perfect that week, and lock him outside with no food or water until he had shown his father the perfected jutsu. First on the list the basic Academy jutsus; Bunshin no Jutsu, Henge no Jutsu, Suimen Hokou no Gyou, et cetera, et cetera. Of course, young Yoichiro was only thee years old at the time, and didn't have enough chakra to produce those clones, or the ability to walk on water. He tried a few times with the Bunshin no Jutsu, and failed miserably. He managed to bring a clone up, but the clone didn't look anything like Yoichiro himself; it stood for about three seconds and collapsed to the ground. And because of this, Yoichiro didn’t want to waste his time trying to do the jutsus he had failed at. He knew that his father would be disappointed, and most likely mad, but Yoichiro didn't care. "Screw father," he had said one day, frustrated.
How long did Yoichiro stay outside exactly? Well, it all depended when his mother would come home. Sometimes she went on business to other countries, and didn't come home at weeks for a time. Most of the days, his mother would come home right before dinner. His father would yank Yoichiro out of the backyard and throw him in the bathtub because Yoichiro would sit in the mud, or play around with the dirt most of the time he was out there, and his mother didn't accept dirty children in here house, especially her own son. After all, Yoichiro wasn't allowed outside in the first place, so if his mother had found out what her husband had been doing to her son, she would literally turn into the she-hulk and rip off the roof of the Katto house
Even though Yoichiro loved his father deeply, for trying to teach a lost cause, he still held resentment and hate towards the man. I mean, his father didn't even treat him like Yoichiro was his son. Yoichiro tagged along to the Academy with his father when he was four years old. He sat back and watched how his father taught. Yoichiro sat there in awe. His father was a totally different man here at the Academy; he smiled, he was gentle with the kids, and he used a soft tone with them. He was even patient with the kids that couldn't manage to produce a jutsu in the right way. Yoichiro rubbed his eyes to see if this was really happening; if this was really true. It was like his father led two lives and lived in two different bodies with two different personalities; one lived at the Academy, the nice, smiling, patient Kiku; while the other one lurked around at home, impatient, neglectful, and not caring. Would he dare tell his mother what his father had been doing behind her back? Or would he keep it all a secret? The decision was unknown to Yoichiro at first, and he couldn't help but admire his father from afar. "Not yet..." he said to himself, smiling uneasily.
A few months after Yoichiro had turned five years old, he was able to control, and produce those jutsus his father had taught him a few months earlier. Of course, they weren't as strong or as well developed as a normal Academy students or Genin's would be, but his was good nevertheless; it looked exactly like Yoichiro, the scars and all. The clone was able to stand without falling, and Yoichiro could actually move it a bit. "Just wait father...I’ve improved so much, that you won't believe it. If I show you this, then you'll know what I’m capable of," Yoichiro had said to himself, while training in the backyard. Now, today wasn't all too nice, the clouds were out over Konohagakure, and it looked like it was going to rain. Nevertheless, he was going to practice rain or shine.
He waited hours for his father to come home but he never did. Not one phone call from him. Nothing. Drenched and cold in his backyard, it was barely noticeable that Yoichiro had shed tears that day. Did his father abandon him? Or did something happen to him at the Academy that day? Was he killed? Assassinated? Sent on a mission? Too many questions were springing into his head at once, which made Yoichiro dizzy. He collapsed onto the slippery muddy ground, looking bewildered, and shocked. He heard his mother come in through the front door. He made no effort to get up and clean himself before his mother could see himself dirty like this. She was whistling, and had two bowls of ramen in her hands. Only two. Not three for the entire family; just two. "I see, so you are the most cruelest...you made him leave. It’s all your FAULT!" he yelled out the last part, making sure his mother had heard him. He stood up, shaking, clenching a kunai tightly in his hand. His eyes had totally changed; the aura around him had turned evil, and was full of negative energy, his eyes turning a dark, hurtful color of green. His mother had set the bowls of ramen on the table, and almost fainted herself as she heard her young five year old son yell. She stood there in awe, staring at the mud-soaked Yoichiro, and then she glanced over at his hand, noticing he held a kunai.
It all happened in slow motion, his mother rushing to the door, locking it in fear of an attack from her young, innocent son; Yoichiro charging at her, denting the glass of the window from the force he held. "You're just like you're father, Yoichi! Violence is not the answer to everything!" she had yelled from inside the door. Yoichiro just stared at his mother. If she had kicked him out, they was no where to go; he hadn't the slightest clue where his father was, and didn't want to live on the streets for in a few months he was due at the Academy since he was turning the age required. He could drop his weapon right now, and act as if it was all an act, and he didn't really mean it, or he could truly run away from his house in search of his father. But would that make Yoichiro content, leaving his mother behind, knowing she had done something just as cruel? He truly had the blood-thurst to kill the women, but only in time would he do it. For right now he needed the love and shelter; he needed to get stronger because it wasn't like a small, thirty-five pound five year old could take down a grown women. No siree.
And with that, Yoichiro dropped his weapon, and formed that fake tears - not like the tears he was shedding a few minutes ago - but tears to make one feel guilty for what they have done. Yoichiro collapsed to the ground yet again, his hair hiding the expression on his face. A big mischievous smile formed on his face as he heard his mother open the door, her arms wrapping around the cold and fragile Yoichiro. "I’m sorry mother...I truly am," Yoichiro had said out loud, trying to control himself from laughter. "Its okay, son. Things like this happen," she had told him, rocking Yoichiro back and forth in her arms. Revenge will be sweet, he thought to himself inwardly, waiting until the day he could actually avenge his father for his mothers’ behaviour and actions.
They sat at the table in silence, in eating their ramen for two. Yoichiro waited for the right moment until he thought it was necessary to ask the question. He had gobbled down his food faster than he had ever done before, seeing as he usually liked to savor his food. But not this time. His mother wasn't even half way through her bowl of ramen, which was a plus. That means she didn't have an excuse for not answering Yoichiro. "So, mother...I’ve been meaning to ask you...what happened to father? Why hasn't he come home yet?" he asked, staring into her shallow eyes. Suki peeked up at Yoichiro with an uneasy smile on her face. She dabbed her lips with a napkin to get off any food and began to explain what she had done. Suki had stated that their love for one another had ended abruptly, and she no longer felt as if she needed Kiku anymore. He was just a useless burden to have around the house. She also said that she had had her eye on quite a looker that wondered around town, and fell instantly in her with him. She then began to bad-mouth Yoichiro's father, calling him vulgar names. "He's most likely on the streets now, son. I got him fired from his job. So, don’t worry about him never coming back. He's most likely dead by now," she had stated while managing to keep a grin on her face. The pressure around the fork that Yoichiro held tightened more than ever. A useless burden? Found someone else? She was cheating behind fathers back while he was out earning the family money at the Academy!
How dare she...Yoichiro stabbed the fork into the table as hard as his little body could manage. He knocked the chair out from behind him, breaking one of its legs. He shook his head at his mother in disappointment and walked away to his room. It was only two months until young Yoichiro would be at the Academy, maybe a possible sighting of his father there. For the next two months, Yoichiro barely talked to his mother, but he trained as much as he could, perfecting those jutsus his father had taught him before he had left mysteriously. "All this for you father..."
---A C A D E M Y life;;
As soon as Yoichiro got to the Academy, he was eager to finally meet his father after a more than five months without him around the house. As he came into the gates of the school, he noticed a lot of Jounin, and Chuunin's standing around, but none of them looked like his father. None of them were his father. He frowned, and went inside the Academy for more instruction on what he was supposed to do, et cetera. At break time, he had wandered back towards the area where he sat when he was taken to the Academy with his father for some look age. He walked over to the seat he sat in, and traced it with his fingers. He looked behind him, and saw a flash back of his dad, treating the student; the smile on his face lightened up Yoichiro, tempting him to smile. But then reality kicked in, and the image of his father faded away.
A chuunin had walked around to where Yoichiro was. "What are you doing here, boy? Get back into the Academy!" Since the leaders didn't know everyone’s name yet, they called the males "Boy" and the female "Girl." Pretty good naming technique, eh? Yoichiro wanted to make his name well known around the Academy. He wanted the Chuunin to glance up from the board, or the books their reading, and shout out Yoichiro's name; or when they're being taught their jutsus, they would comment Yoichiro on how well he's been doing. Only time would tell if what he thought would come true.
Yoichiro nodded at the Chuunin. "Yes, sir. Sorry..." he spoke very quietly, walking proudly back into the Academy. Over time, Yoichiro made a few friends here and there, but they didn't stick around Yoichiro for long. Apparently, Yoichiro was intimidating, and scary to other kids. The way he thought about death, and killing. He spoke so freely about doing missions and killing the people that needed to be slayed, not caring about the about thought of death, and the blood that gets soaked into your skin. Yoichiro fantasized about such things in private, getting a natural "high" out of it. He would sometimes, if needed, go into detail about killing ones parent, and how fastidious and sweet it would be to see them struggling to keep alive in Yoichiro's grasp. Of course, he would only tease around about that to the kids that picked on him for his appearance. They deserved it, obviously.
From the beginning, Yoichiro knew that he was different from the others, and would not be able to fit in with them. He just shrugged it off. Who needs friends anyways? They're useless, and always tend to get in your way, especially if you're going on missions. Missions - the thing that Yoichiro despised the most. Missions meant that he was a Genin, and would need to travel to another village - if lucky. They would also be followed with someone they called a "Sensei" most likely Jounin ranked. Yoichiro, being the stubborn type wanted to do nothing with these teams. If he had to suffer through them, he would like to do it along with no ones trouble. The reason for this was because Yoichiro didn't want to get too close to his team-mates; he'd prefer if they didn't meet at all.
And to make the distance between the other two, Yoichiro would have to use his bad attitude and sadistic jokes to keep them far away. He knew that these people would most likely talk behind his back about how weird and creepy the boy is. Did they really think they could make Yoichiro cry? Did they just do this for pleasure, and the fun of putting one shinobi down? Or just for spite? Whatever the reason was, Yoichiro was going to find out one way or another. Whether is be torturing the people into telling him, or just plain out killing them when he was older. They'll soon see what bullying does to the soul.
Though the Academy years were hard and rough, the end was near. Yoichiro had passed all his tests, and managed with flying colors, though he was not the top person in his class. "Its all because of you father. You pushed me farther than I could be pushed; and demanded those jutsus into my body. Now look at me father...I’m about to graduate, and you're not here to see me....what am I going to do without you?" Yoichiro had said one night while resting in bed. He had been thinking about his father, and how he was. The words "he may be dead" from his mother went in one ear, and out the other. It was impossible that his father, Kiku, would be dead. Impossible, and unbelievable.
Through time, Yoichiro was taught various jutsus that his father had taught him years before, but at that time, young Yoichiro wasn't able to complete them. And now...here he was, perfecting every jutsu the Chuunin’s lay in front of him. In his spare time, he would pull one of his Sensei's to the side and show him some of the jutsus that he had been taught by his father. He did the Bunshin no Jutsu, Nawanuke no Jutsu, and a few others that were very minor. The Chuunin, Sekiayu, patted Yoichiro on the head, and smiled proudly. "You should be proud son, accomplishing such jutsus like these for your age. You should be proud," At this time, Yoichiro had just turned eight years old.
He was about to walk away, but was stopped abruptly with a hand on the shoulder form Sekiayu. His grin and happy face soon turned all serious and stern. "I just wanted to tell you, Yoichiro...your father was a great Jounin here around the Academy. It’s a shame that we had lost him, and believe me, it was a heavy loss. I hope that someday you do truly find this man and bring him back home. He's needed and wanted by not just the Academy, but his family needs him too," he exclaimed, ruffling with Yoichiro's hair. The boy just nodded, and walked away with tears in his eyes that he was about to shed, but feared being called a "crybaby" so he kept them bottled up inside.
He was older now, and still kept that hate towards both his parents. Yoichiro came to the conclusion that his mother was not worth talking to, or putting love towards her. After all, she was just a "useless burden" to have around the house. As for his father, Yoichiro came to terms inside his head, and told himself that his father had abandoned him, left him with his mother to die in Konohagakure alone with a manly figure in his life. He was going to find his father, and kill him for what he's done. Despite what Sekiayu had said weeks before he had met with Yoichiro, Yoichiro was going to stand for this. Yes, Kiku was a great Jounin, and was needed back at the Academy. Yoichiro had thought that if his father had a choice between coming back to his family, or going back to his job; he would choose his job over his family any time. No doubt about that, which really pissed Yoichiro off. Yes, this was just his opinion after all, but he knew what his father was like, and knew how much he loved his family. There was no lieing here.
The process at the Academy was swift and fast for Yoichiro. He was taught all the jutsus that he was supposed to be taught, and perfected them all over time, faster than most of the kids around him. And because of this, one of his Sensei's, Sekiayu, knew how eager Yoichiro was for jutsus, and taught him some minor Genin-level jutsus, like the Suimen Hokou no Gyou, the Art of Walking on Water. The jutsu was still imperfect, but it was better than nothing. Atleast he knew the jutsu, and the handsigns. He practised straight after the Academy with the many jutsus to perfect them even more, to get a better understanding of how you work it, et cetera. Yoichiro was barely seen at home any more. He came home for the occassional meal, and a place to sleep for the night, but besides that, Yoichiro spent his days in Konoha's secluded forests, and other many places where you could train.
Tomorrow was the day that Yoichiro was to graduate from the Academy. He was going to be a Genin, and then a Chuunin, and possibly rise up to the Jounin level like his father did. Because, he, Yoichiro, had Kiku's - his fathers - blood running in his veins. Who ever said that he couldn't accomplish anything his father did and more? No one. And that's how it’s going to be. Yoichiro had cleaned himself extra good that night, trying to smell the best he could. He ate the extra food left over from dinner, and went to bed early. He needed all the rest he could for the big day tomorrow. The only people who would be at the Academy graduation tomorrow would be his mother, seeing as she lived in the village already. Yoichiro had made his mother promise that she would show up ten minutes early, so she could get a good spot. She nodded in agreement, and promised Yoichiro.
...Soon that promise was broken. Yoichiro was to be called up any minute now, and there was still no site of his mother in the crowd. The place was already jam-packed with parents and elders. His mother had to be in there somewhere, right? He walked around in the crowd of Academy students who had just been made Genins. They were cheering happily. Most of them had fled to their parents, their hugs and cheers of congradulations swarmed the little ones. He looked away from the happy family, and glared into the horizon. "I knew you wouldn't come...I knew it." Yoichiro had said outloud to himself, shaking his held in disappointment. All along, Yoichiro knew his mother wasn't going to come. It wasn't like they were close anymore. She probably was busy with her new boyfriend, or had something more important at home to do then come to Yoichiro's graduation.
But, there was this one percent of hope that lingered around in Yoichiro. That hope over-powered the rest of his negative thoughts, sending all positive ones out; like his mother coming. She would come. No doubt about that. She had to come, right? Even if she didn't like her son very much, it was still a polite thing to do by going to your own bloods' graduation. Yoichiro's name was finally called, and he was hesitant to walk up there, to be seen in front of so many people. What if he tripped? What if he messed up somehow that made everyone laugh at him? Though, Yoichiro proved himself wrong, and didn't mess up like he thought he would. He smiled proudly as he god his headband that signified him as a full-fledged Ninja - well, almost.
As he got his headband, though, unlike most kids, there was no standing applause, or wild cheering from his parents in the crowd. Though, he did get a few claps from the people in the crowd, but that was just them being polite. He knew that they didn't care about him. The kids in his class probably told their parents about Yoichio, the breast. He knew that most of them did, because he got glares from most of the parents when he walked past them. People were harsh to one another, but that was reality. No one was equal in this world, and not everyone was loved. Yoichiro, the rebel, was likely to be the most hated and intimidating person in his age group, and maybe even higher. This was just his opinion, and what he saw from most, but the opinion was probably some-what on the right track.
Yoichiro didn't wait for the rest of his peers to get their headband before he left. He didn't want to stay around and party like other would. He just...wanted to be alone. Most people didn't understand Yoichiro, or the pain he felt. He knew that someday he would find that special someone, but it wasn't any time soon. Most of the girls around Konoha were being taken by the hot, macho boys who were uber strong and had all the looks. And for those girls who didn't want that type of guy, they obviously weren't looking for someone like Yoichiro. He sat uptop in a tree, facing the rest of Konoha; the horizon in the distance. He sighed, and fingered the Konoha symbol on his headband, smiling. "I finally made it, father. Im almost there. Soon we'll be together. Just wait," Yoichiro said to himself. That night, Yoichiro never made it home. He stayed in that tree the entire night, soon falling asleep in it, thinking about what the years ahead of him would be like...and of course, he thought of his father.
---G E N I N years;;
Now since Yoichiro was much older, eight years old, the Genin years of his life wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. A few weeks after he had graduated from the Academy, he was sent to meet his Sensei and his two team-mates. And even though Yoichio was right about his other two teammates not liking him very much, he still had his Sensei to rely on if anything went wrong. He had a boy and a girl on his team; the boy being name Nyaku and the girl being name Nami.
The boy wasn't anything special; he didn't have any specific clan Kekkei Genkai. He was strong, though. Much taller than Yoichiro, and had more endurance then him, too. He was one of the people who passed the Academy at top marks, and of course, was liked by all the teachers and his peers. He was too full of himself, and glared at Yoichiro each time he would glance over at Kami. Now, the girl was a pretty one, though, Yoichiro knew she was off limits from the way Nyaku looked at him, and then at the girl. She had blond hair, blue eyes. She was fragile, and maybe even stronger than Yoichiro, though, he did have some doubt in there.
Now, his Sensei wouldnt reveal his real name out to us, and Yoichiro had no clue why. His Sensei was cool, he was much taller than the Genins, which was a given. He had dark, raven black hair, and always seemed to crack a joke when they was silence. The other two didnt laugh, and Yoichiro wanted too, but he kept it inside of him just incase he was to look like a fool. Yoichiro did like his team, he truly did. It wasn't going to be that hard to advance to chuunin, would it? It didn't have to be much harder than being an Academy Student, though, they were going to do more exciting, and dangerous things, like missions, and all that jazz.
For the next few weeks, Yoichiro began to hate his team even more, including his Sensei. Everything was messed up; they always faught, argued, and they never learnt anything or did anything exciting because their Sensei would usualy just walk away after a few minutes of bickering and fighting because he didnt want to stick around to see what would happen between the three Genins. Yoichiro usually carried on with the fighting, while the girl would flee the scene, leaving the two boys to fight by themselves.
"I hate you!" the boy would yell at Yoichiro. They fought fairly, not pulling out any weapons, only using their skin against each other. Yoichiro had a harder punch than the other guy, but Nyaku was heavier than Yoichiro and tended to keep him pinned down to the ground for most of the time. "Well, I hate you too! Fatty!" Yoichiro would yell back, while adding more rude words other than "fatty." And because of this, Nyaku would get angrier than before which made Yoichiro smile gleefully. It was all apart of Yoichiro's plan. He would let Nyaku beat the living hell out of him, and waited until Nyaku thought he had killed Yoichiro.
Yoichiro would surprise Nyaku with a sneak attack, and get out from underneth him, and attack him with everything he had. A few more minutes of this and they could literally kill each other until nothing remained. Nyaku now pinned onto the ground, almost unconcious, while Yoichiro was on top beating the living daylights out of the poor guy. A few minutes later, the Sensei would rush back with Kami in tears. He would break Yoichiro and Nyaku up, and start glare at the both of them. By then, Nyaku was too shocked and in pain to even be scared of his Sensei, while Yoichiro was wipping the blood from around his mouth, smiling eviling at Nyaku, not paying any attention to his Sensei who was clearly annoyed.
Yoichiro, who was now having the urge for blood spill, and to kill Nyaku wasnt about to give up - no way. He wanted more excitement, but the problem was, his Sensei stood inbetween the two. He would glance over at Kami and lick his lips, possibly making a plan to jump the girl. Yoichiro's thoughts soon came into an abrupt end, as he felt pain on his cheek from his Sensei's hand. He winced in pain, but knew what his Sensei was playing at. "Are you trying to hurt me? Because I didn't feel anything," Yoichiro stated with a sarcastic tone in his words. His Sensei pulled Yoichiro from the collar and made him stand on the ground. He pointed into the direction of the Konoha streets. "Go home now, Yoichiro." he yelled.
Yoichiro bowed at head down and shrugged. He walked away with his hands in his pockets. For the next few weeks, Yoichiro skipped out on his Genin group. He knew he wasn't wanted, and clearly didn't want to face his Sensei or Nyaku face to face again. And he obviously didn't want to see Kami. He didn't know what he was thinking, trying to hurt Kami like he wanted. "No, no! I mustn't hurt her. Never," he told himself as he was walking around Konoha aimlessly by himself like had been doing for the last few days.
He was too embarassed to be seen around his team-mates. He wasn't embarassed to be with them, he was embarassed for them to be seen with him. He was a fool, and had no right to act the way he did. How the heck was he supposed to make it up to them? He hadnt the slightest clue then, but would ponder on that idea for the next few days. In total, Yoichiro missed eight days of training with his team. And everyday he had wondered what they had been up to. Were they on a mission? Were they training? Were they having fun without Yoichiro?
Yoichiro hadn't been home since the incident with his team. He didn't have the time to get yelled at by his mother, or do the millions of chores she would throw at him daily. He didn't even care if his mother worried about him, if he was okay, and where he was, etc. All those parently concerns they held for their child. Yoichiro doubted she held any. She was probably too busy playing with her new boyfriend, Yoichiro had thought, imatating his mothers' boyfriends face.
He laughed outloud, and knew that everyone else would think he wa crazy or something. He didn't care. He had made his mind, and decided he would face his team after a week and a day of being alone. He wanted to be with them. He needed his Sensei's help with training. And most of important of them all, he needed all of them; their support, their comfort, their voices. It had seemed like ages since Yoichiro had spoken to someone, and it was about time that he had the chance too.
Yoichiro walked to their normal training ground, and noticed that no one was there. He spotted his Sensei's backpack sitting on the ground. "Atleast he'll be coming back for this," he said outloud, planting a seat beside the bag. Without realizing it, Yoichiro fell asleep, and awoke in darkness. He rubbed his eyes, and noticed someone towering over him. "Its about time you woke up," a familiar voice stated, smiling. He walked into the moonlight, revealing his face - it was Yoichiro's sensei. Yoichiro quickly stood up, wipping off the dirt on his clothes. "I-I'm sorry, I really am...Please forgive me Sensei," he asked, bowing his head in shame.
In the end, his Sensei accepted Yoichiro's apology, and allowed him one more chance onto the team. He nodded, and walked back into his house for the first time in weeks, and went straight to bed smiling. Over the coming months, Yoichiro trainined his butt off - alone. His teammates were too scared and mad to be around him, or they hung out together while Yoichiro got the Sensei. He was progressing very fast, and soon out-matched his team-mates Ninjutsu-wise. Yoichiro trained day and night; Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu was what he was aiming to perfect. Of course, since he was just a mere Genin, he wouldnt be able to master all the jutsus available to him, but it was worth a try to master as many as his body and mind could handle.
One night, while Yoichiro was training in the park, and unexpected person showed up, and approached Yoichiro. He smiled, as he knew who it was, but didn't know why they had come to meet Yoichiro. It was none other than Nyaku himself. "So, I see how you got strong, Yoichiro, training like this. Don't you sleep?" the boy asked. Yoichiro put away his kunai, and stared at the boy. "Never. Not until I become strong. And why are you even here? If you're looking for a fight, I'm not the one to do it with," Yoichiro had exclaimed, glaring at the boy.
Nyaku stared back into the boys eyes, with sencerity and guilt. "Look, I just came here to say sorry for what I did back then. It wasn't like me to do it, I was just...jealous, y'know? You kinda intimated me at first, but then I became stubborn and kept Kami and myself away from you...Im sorry you had to suffer through that with no one...Im just sorry that we couldn't become more than just enemies," he stated, smling. "Thats all I came here for, Yoichiro. To apologize to you for what I've done. You're a great shinobi, and I look up to you, even if i'm a bit older. Good luck in the chuunin exam, and perhaps we will meet again in the arena, and fight not like enemies - but as friends. Farewell, Yoichiro," and that was that. Nyaku walked off back to his house.
Yoichiro stood there in shock, totally not expecting that to happen. But that one comment that Nyaku left with Yoichiro made him light up inside. It was all he needed to succeed, and get through life. Yoichiro didn't feel close to anyone, and felt as if he was alone in this world...but for once in his life, and felt needed. He felt as if he had belonged to someone. He had never expected to hear the truth out of Nyaku's mouth, him saying that he actually looked up to Yoichiro. "I won't let you down, Nyaku. I won't let you down..." he promised himself, putting everything he had into training for the upcoming Chuunin exam. If he wanted to ever see Nyaku again, then he would need to succeed, and dominate the people he was left up against. He would win, no doubt.
It was in the middle of the summer when the Chuunin exam was funally held. Yoichiro was twelve at the time. He and his team were quite successful in the first two stages of the exma; capturing the needed amount of scrolls in the forest of death. They had passed the first two stages together, and now it was up to them as individuals to pass the final exam. In the Prelims, Yoichiro managed to beat the opponent up against him; Kami didn't succeed, which was a shame to hear; while Nyaku passed alongside Yoichiro. For the final battle of the Chuunin exam, coincidentally Yoichiro and Nyaku both made it, and were both put against each other.
Yoichiro was hesitant at first, seeing as he wanted to become a Chuunin, but at the same time, he didn't want to betray his friend. In the end, only by a thread, Yoichiro came out on top and beat Nyaku in their hard-core battle. The battle was one of the longest ones there; lasting over twenty minutes for it to finally be done. As Yoichiro walked past his Sensei and Kami, and got a pat of the back, and a word of congrats, and a kiss on the cheek from Kami. He blushed, and kept on walking proudly for today, Yocihiro was a Chuunin.
---C H U U N I N years;; The beginnings of Yoichiro’s years as a Chuunin were slow and boring. He did a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. He did mini missions for people, like escorting, or capturing a lost cat from a tree. Other than that, Yoichiro did nothing exciting. He taught at the Academy three days a week, and even more if they needed someone. Yoichiro loved to teach the young Academy students a trick or two.
And from the look in their eyes when they saw Yoichiro teach, it made him feel special. Even though he wasn't a Jounin just yet, he was still classified as a strong ninja, but wasn't allowed to exactly teach most of the students even if he wanted too. He didn't know why, but teaching younger kids made everything bright, and happy. He was in this position no more than a few years ago, and now here he was, a Chuunin, teaching the generations below him the ways of the Shinobi.
He had asked the Hokage is he could take on a role as one of the Jounins, and be one of the main teachers at the Academy, but they turned him down. Though, they did have something else in mind for Yoichiro. A mission. Not any ordinary mission though. It was a high ranked mission, for Jounin ranked shinobi or higher. And he was the chosen one to lead the group. Why had he been chosen? Because the Hokage has been keeping an eye out for him ever since the Academy, and has a record on Yoichiro the size of a dictionary.
The Hokage believed that Yoichiro could one day aspire to be a great shinobi, and perhaps take on the role of the Hokage if he really tried. Though, that wasn't his goal, and he would never go after something that dumb. He indeed did want to go on this mission, but he didn't have the courage or wits to lead them. After all, he didn't have that much experience in leadership, and hardly knew if he could lead between five to ten Jounin ranked shinobi.
It was his pride that he wanted to keep. Yoichiro didn't want to look like a fool, and mess up in front of anyone. That would be embarrassing, and plain out dumb if that had happened. Though, in the end, he accepted the Hokage's offer, and prepared himself for the mission which would take place in no more than two days. Two days and he would be leading a squad of his own. Two days his life would change forever.
But before we go into that, we must talk about the most important thing that has come into Yoichiro's life. A friend. No, they were more than just friends. They were best friends. Nothing could separate them. Nothing. Yoichiro had met this young man at the Academy. He was Jounin, and taught alongside of Yoichiro. The man, also named Ki had approached Yoichiro one day and asked Yoichiro is he could help him with teaching strategies, and how he got the kids to listen so well.
Yoichiro was glad to teach Ki, and taught him everything he knew from discipline actions to teaching a jutsus to people under the age of six. After this meeting, the two had become closer and closer to each other. Soon, they friends. They're bond for each other was a sure one-of-a-kind. It was like none other. They didn’t argue with each other; they agreed with everything the other would say; they liked the same food; and even acted the same sometimes. Ki was almost the exact same as Yoichiro. It was as if they were twins.
They become closer and closer over the years, and after three years of knowing each other, and learning more about one another, it had seemed like Yoichiro and Ki had known each other for their entire life. Yoichiro would tell Ki about his mother, and his father leaving, and how he struggled as a Genin, and Academy student. Ki would tell Yoichiro about how he had moved here from Oto to get away from his crazy clan. He told Yoichiro about his family members; he had two brothers, and two sisters, though, one had died when he was very young. Ki told Yoichiro about how he too struggled growing up, and how he was weak compared to others in his class.
Though, Ki was one of those lucky ones who got all the hot girls. He was young, and very sweet. It was like he understood the language of the women or something. He had shaggy blond hair with bright blue eyes which any women would die for - Yoichiro thought. He was tall and muscular for his age. He was in great shape, and knew graduated top seat as a Chuunin. He was great - a package worth dying for, especially for his personality. He was smart, kind, and true to his word - unlike Yoichiro. He was funny, and loved to laugh. All in all, Ki was an amazing human being.
The day after, Yoichiro got a list on who was coming on this mission. And in the middle of the list was none other than Ki himself. Now, Yoichiro was worried for a few minutes because there was a chance that people could get badly injured, and even killed during missions - especially this one. He wanted to cross Ki off the list, and just forget about him, but Yoichiro didn't know if they Hokage had already told everyone who was going on the mission what was happening. It was likely that the Hokage checked up on everyone, so Yoichiro had no choice. He would protect Ki with his life, even if he meant that he was to die - he owed Ki his life, and would die bravely for it.
Now for their mission: Yoichiro was supposed to lead a squad of seven shinobi into Amegakure, and capture an S Ranking Mission Nin whom was causing a fair bit of trouble in Ame, and other surrounding countries. It was going to be that hard, was it? I mean, Yoichiro had a whole squad of elite ninja on his side; there was no way that he was going to lose to scum like that. He was going to capture and kill that Missing Nin even if it costs him a lot.
The mission itself was easy; all seven shinobi were there, and Ki was happier than ever that they were both chosen to go on this mission. Yoichiro faked his happiness, but didn't want to let it show that he was worried about his friend. On the way to Amegakure, there were no troubles; not a single attack thrown at their way. As they got to the gates of Ame, Yoichiro split the group up into four and three. Yoichiro would be on the squad with three, while the rest would be on the four person team. Of course, Yoichiro chose Ki to be in his squad.
After hours of searching for the Missing-nin, Yoichiro finally received word on the whereabouts of the rogue shinobi - he was on the run from squad four. Yoichiro got word via a shinobi from that squad. As soon as that happened. Yoichiro made Ki and the others stick around at the entrance of Ame to make sure no one else would enter. Ki objected at first, but knew Yoichiro's word was law.
As Yoichiro came to the Missing-nin, he noticed that he had two men down, dead and helpless to the world. The squad at piled the bodies up together to get them away from the battle with the Missing-nin. Yoichiro came into arms length of the man, and noticed that he was old, atleast forty or fifty years old if not more. "I see, so you're the missing-nin Hokage-sama sent us out to get...I can see now that you're nothing more than an old man," Yoichiro stated, chuckling at the comment he just made.
"What a familiar voice you have there...Katto Yoichiro!" the man said, suddenly turning around, facing Yoichiro eye-to-eye. Yoichiro stood there in awe. Guess who the troubled missing Nin was? None other than his father. Why was it his father? And what was he doing all the way out here? Wasn't he supposed to be dead? "I see...so mother was wrong. You're not dead after all. Bravo, father. But I still have to follow the rules, and take you with us," He stated, sighing. Yoichiro pulled out his Katana, and aimed it at his father's chin. "I wish you no harm. Now, come with us, or die here, old man!" Yoichiro remarked, spitting in his fathers face.
His father disappeared in split second, and reappeared right behind Yoichiro, holding a Kunai to his throat. "So I see you haven't awakened the Katto Kekkei Genkai yet my son. How I pity you, living life without the most fabulous thing in the world," the man stated, putting pressure on his Kunai, making Yoichiro's throat bleed. Yoichiro stood still, not knowing what he would do. Was he could do die here, right now to someone like his father? Was this finally his time to die? No! Katto Yoichiro was not going to die. Not this early.
"Kekkei Genkai? Is there such thing? If so, then why haven't I learnt it yet, father? Or is this just a bluff? One of those tricks you play with me?" He asked, looking into his fathers' eyes. He had noticed that his father wore an eye patch over his left eye, signifying that he had either lost that eye, or there was something wrong with it. His father had white hair like the snow; his face was engulfed in wrinkles. His youngness and beauty had been lost over the years. He was shorter now, since Yoichiro had been growing through the years, instead of shrinking. Yoichiro noticed that his father was not fragile and weak like most old men his age; he was actually stronger than usual, which frightened Yoichiro.

His father, still digging his Kunai harder into Yoichiro's neck had explained that a true heir to the Katto clan can only awaken the Kekkei Genkai that it held through blood lust, and the will to kill. Of course, Yoichiro just laughed at what his father said, and found his neck in-between his fathers' hands, chocking him. "Yoichiro, please don't make me laugh. If you insist on going on the idea of you killing me, then the only way possible is for you to awaken this hidden power inside of you. And if that means me killing all your team-mates, then I'll do it," his father stating, stabbing Yoichiro with a Kunai in the back. Blood spurted out of his mouth, but he didn't fall to the ground. Yoichiro placed his left hand on his fathers’ hand, which was still wrapped around his neck.
"If you're trying to kill me, it's not going to happen. I’m not going down. A silly Kunai in the back, old man? Get real." And with that, Yoichiro performed the Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique) with a piece of tree, leaving a cloud of dust behind him, revealing the log. Yoichiro then found himself far enough away from his father. He saw the expression on his father's face, and it was in pure shock. Yoichiro yanked out the Kunai as slowly as he could from his back and held out on front of him, dripping with blood from Yoichiro. "Heh..." Yoichiro threw the Kunai on the ground in front of his father, making him take a step back.
All of a sudden, his father disappeared into thin air. Yoichiro looked bewildered, but stood his ground, waiting for a surprise attack from his father. There was none. After ten minutes of waiting around, he knew his father had fled...or so he thought. Yoichiro shrugged, and walked over to the two dead bodies that his father had killed. He didn't even notice his other comrades standing around silently. When he did notice, he sent them off to the entrance with Ki and the others. This battle was between him and his father only. They had a lot of stuff to catch up on, and it would only be fair if Yoichiro did that alone.
He covered the eyes of the two fallen soldiers with their hands. They died bravely, and were now in a better place. As Yoichiro was turning around to go find his father, he noticed one of the team-mates from the other section bloodied and in shock. Yoichiro ran over to the man, and placed his hands on his shoulders, shaking him just a bit. "What happened? What's the matter?" Yoichiro asked, his heart racing more than ever. "He - came - killed - Ki - and - others. All dead. I-I--" but before he could answer, Yoichiro took off in a sprint towards the entrance. Ki? Dead? No! This can't be real. His father had fled the scene, hadn't he? Noo! Ki, I'm coming!
As Yoichiro arrived at the scene, he saw the bodies, and gory site it was. Not a single person moved. No one. He looked around and suddenly saw Ki. Yoichiro ran to his aid, and slid down onto his knees, holding Ki's head in his hands. "Ki...don't panic. Ill help you...Just don’t die--" Yoichiro stated, tears forming up in his face. Ki was badly injured, no doubt about that. He was also losing too much blood. If Yoichiro left now, would he be able to make it to Konoha on time? Or would Ki die before then? "It hurts-s, Y-y-Yoichiro-o-o...I-I d-d-ont-t w-a-ant t-t-o d-d-d-i-i-ie..." he heard his friend exclaim quietly. They were both crying now. Why? Because they were afraid of losing each other.
Yoichiro tried to pick Ki up, but couldn’t. A Katana was nailed through his stomach, and planted itself in the ground below Ki, leaving his stuck. He did have the choice to pull the sword out, but wouldn't. The bleeding would only get worse, and Ki was sure to die faster if Yoichiro made that move. Yoichiro held onto his friends’ hand. It was getting colder, and was shaking more than usual. He didn't know what he would do; Ki was literally screwed and it was all Yoichiro's fault. A few minutes passed, and Ki's heart stopped working. He died on September third. The crying was coming down more as Yoichiro slammed his fist into the ground beside Ki.
Angry swelled up inside of him as he spotted his father chuckling in the distance. Yoichiro stood up, pulling his Katana out of its holder. "You! Its all your fault! I'll kill you for what you've done! This is unforgiveable, and you know it!" Suddenly Yoichiro's vision changed into what we call the "Tonnerubijon (Lit. 'Tunnel Vision')" His Kekkei Genkai had been awakened - and no one was here to stop him. He charged at his father with his Katana. Yoichiro didn't exactly know of the side-affects of this power, but it wasn't pretty. He had his father, and he knew that, there was no doubt.
Yoichiro was faster than normal, and his intent to kill was over-whelming. All in one motion, he slayed his father - he was dead. And even after he was pronounced dead, Yoichiro kept on stabbing his fathers' stomach, destroying his body even more. The blood from his fathers' body puddled around Yoichiro's feet as he continued to stab the helpless body. He was yelling from the pain of losing Ki, and the tears began to flow from the loss.
From behind, he felt someone tap his shoulder, and saw someone reaching for his Katana. "He's dead now. There’s no use in killing him more, Yoichiro," the man had stated. They were the ANBU Black Ops from Konoha - the Hokage had sent them apparently because they were taking too long. Yoichiro was escorted back to Konoha. There were only two survivors - himself and the Jounin that told Yoichiro about what had happened at the entrance. He had failed not only himself, but his team-mates, too. He let them die, and it was all their fault. Five Jounins, and one Chuunin were killed today under Yoichiro's name. It was like Yoichiro killed those men; but he didn't. Their death would follow Yoichiro for the rest of his life...especially the death of his best friend.
Three days after they had arrived back at Konoha, Yoichiro was recovering from his back wound, and found himself alone in Academy. The funeral for those shinobi were held the day before, and practically the entire Konoha nation was at this Funeral. After the funeral, Yoichiro was approached by the Hokage. And guess what he did? He congratulated Yoichiro on the bravery he held during the mission, and promoted him to Jounin. Yoichiro, not caring what rank he was anymore, smiled a fake smile and walked away. He still had another day left in the hospital, but couldn't handle the smell of it anymore.
He got dressed into his clothes, and wandered over to Ki's grave. He was on the stone that named the fallen shinobi whom had died in battle. Ki's name stood out like a shinning star in the night sky. Yoichiro had stopped feeling inside; it hurt too much. He tried to forget about that hateful day, but couldn't. He dreamt about it everyday, and hated it. The blood...the hate...the death...it was too much to handle. Yoichiro needed to get away from Konoha - forever.
Two days after, twenty year old Katto Yoichiro fled the Hidden Leaf Village. He was now officially a Missing Nin, now - which was what he had wanted all along. No one was going to catch him, and he was sure of that. Now that he had his Kekkei Genkai to train with, he was unstoppable. Truly he was. He was free like the birds in the sky. Free, and powerful.
i originally had a KG for this character, but it got deleted off my old site .___. theres a part in my history where he learns it... just ignore that... too lazy to read through it and find it.
