The gods have not been merciful to those who live the shinobi lifestyle. All around the countries, famine and poverty has stricken their lands. Crops will not grow, even though rain falls from the sky. Crime and death rates have risen to an all time high.
In this struggle, gangs have been formed. With Akatsuki dying out years ago, these new gangs are the worst threat to come. Unmerciful, they make the weaker submit to working for them, or choosing death, and in this hard time, it's hard for most people to say no. How else would everyone fend for themselves and their families? Slowly, the new generation is turning into something that the original founders of these lands would have hoped to have never seen. Clan members are turning against their own in hopes to better themselves without thinking of doing something to stop all of this.
New, lethal weapons have been made. Guns that shoot out poisonous darts have been made, along with other weapons that are just as deadly. Drug sales have become higher, making the gangs that much deadly and powerful.
Is there a way to stop all of this? Does the secret lay deep within one clan's chambers, or is there something else that can end the pain that has been created? Will you help to stop all of this, or will you become the one who brings more suffering into the world?
