ATTIRE,
mochi wears loose-fitting clothes that allow him room for movement and growth. he has two almost-identical outfits he wears often. the first outfit consists of black loose-pants and a black vest like shirt with a 'v' neck - again loose-fitting. with the black outfit he also ties a red ribbon around his head in place of a forehead protector - he's never worn one - and has a bandage around his waist. his second most common outfit is like the first, only in white. with his outfit he doesn't wear the ribbon and the bandage is wrapped around his torso to cover the "scars" on his back. often, he will wear a long white robe with gold marks over his outfit, the robe also has a hood which he often has up - not wishing to be seen.

PERSONALITY,
Mochi, is a very confused individual. He has no real understanding of how to interact with other people though he's slowly learning. He dislikes close physical contact with any but those who were important to him in the past, some of which are still important. He may often seem aloof and ignorant but deep down he really cares about everything and anything, which is part of the reason why he's not chosen to side with good or evil. He dislikes violence to a point where he refuses to fight anyone unless it's to protect someone he holds close.

FAMILY,

no other relatives known to him. he believe's he has no family.

HISTORY,
Mochi was an experiment created by a young man who asspired to make something immortal many years ago. The man took DNA from a young girl, in Konohagakure, the first time he met her. Using that DNA he created Mochi, who he named after the sweets one of his men were eating at the time. When he was "born" Mochi's form was the one he becomes once a month.

With both human, bijuu and possibly animal DNA making him live life for Mochi was very difficult and very painful. He could never control what his body did while he was growing up, and the man was about ready to give up on him. But then - as if on a stroke of luck - the very same girl who's DNA had been used to make Mochi arrived in Otogakure no Sato. This gave the man a brilliant idea.

So from the age of five Mochi hung around with the girl - later identified as Taylia Kumo - and began training with her. She taught him the basics of being a ninja and he caught on very quickly. In time Mochi learnt to control his transformations so by the time he was seven and in the Otogakure academy he'd managed to get them down to once a month - though he found he became weakened in that time so he wasn't allowed to train.

The man was pleased things were going so well. Mochi became a genin aged nine and joined Taylia's squad - by then Taylia was a jounin - to set about on simple genin missions. When he was days from his eleventh birthday he went to Konohagakure and took the chunnin exam. He passed it - though just barely and gained the rank of a chunnin.

The man was very pleased with Mochi's efforts and rewarded him for doing such a good job. However, the reward didn't last long as soon Mochi was up and about assisting Taylia in leading their squad. Though that wasn't really a reward anymore Mochi enjoyed it. When he was with the team he felt like there was somewhere he belonged.

Then when he was thirteen Mochi took the jounin "exam", he passed with little difficulty this time though when the man and Taylia told him he'd need a genin squad now he point blank refused. He didn't want to try and fit in with anyone else. So for a while he was left with no squad and just himself and his monthly transformations. However, one day he came across something very interesting. Using stealthly techniques he was able to discover about an attack on the Village Leader. He moved quickly to tell the leader and said leaders gaurds - effectively saving his life.

Though the man refused to allow him to become an "ANBU" the village leader claimed he was strong enough to be one. Mochi was just days from making a decision when Taylia died when the man's lab was attacked. Saddened Mochi refused and has returned to his "child-like" hate of violence.
